Urban Documentary Portraits

This gallery shows people in real environments, doing real things.

The sessions are planned, but the moments are not staged. I don’t focus on posing or directing expressions. Instead, I give space for people to move naturally within their environment - training, working, waiting, focusing - and I respond to what actually happens.

The goal is not perfection, but honesty.

Light, atmosphere, and surroundings are kept real. Gyms, streets, workspace and urban spaces are not used as backdrops, but as part of the story. I work with available light as much as possible and keep direction minimal so the images stay grounded in reality.

These photographs sit between street photography and portrait work - controlled enough to be intentional, but open enough to let real moments surface.

If you’re drawn to images that feel lived-in, raw, and unforced, this work reflects that approach.
